What I'm up to now?

I'm still living in Kerken, Germany. Bought a house from 1992 last year and did some modernisations like new windows, front-door, replaced gas-heating with heat-pump and installed a nice photovoltaic system in June.

Our son is 3,5 years old and quiet happy exploring the world with us.

I'm working for ALDI South as Senior IT Engineer in the "Center of Excellence Development" supporting teams in their SDLC, DevOps setup. I'm really happy at this place.

I still like self-hosting and being in control of my data. This page is delivered to you by a tiny server in my basement.

For many years I was highly into note-taking (PKM) and finally came back and settled down to Obsidian.
